Services

Tax

JJJ Associates Timor, LDA’s Director was the External Tax Audit Key Expert with the Office of National Directorate of Domestic Revenue (NDDR) of the Republic Democratic of Timor-Leste. He worked at the NDDR Office reporting to the Director and the Director General for National Revenue from January 2014 to December 2014. Quiet naturally, the above experience has resulted in a very strong, transparent and truthful relationship with the NDDR. Thus, giving our Company a unique place in Dili to offer a direct interface to deal all tax matters to our tax clients with the NDDR. Our tax services shall include:
• Preparation of Financial Statements complying fully with the RDTL’s tax rules
• Review of Financial Statements for RDTL Tax Compliance
• Monthly submission of tax forms and payments to NDDR
• Assistance to Companies in case of litigation with NDDR (Tax assessments, Penalties, Dividas)
• Act as Tax Representatives

Audit

Timor-Leste is slowly upgrading all its Corporate Governance Policies and sooner than later Companies would need to submit their audited Financial Statements to Government agencies such as to the National Directorate of Domestic Revenue/Tax Authorities, and also to forthcoming Financial Regulatory Authorities. An audit may be required to assure to the owners/shareholders in an independent manner that the Financial Statements prepared by the Management Team are accurate and give a true and fair view of the state of the business. Or to assure the Headquarters that all financial operations operated by its local Branch had been conducted as reflected in the Financial Statements of the Company/NGO. Accounting

All our accounts shall be prepared under IFRS by default but also to the desired reporting GAAP of our Clients (US GAAP). We have highly trained accountants to keep your accounts up to date. This is achieved through the use of the Cloud technology provided by Xero accounting software which outclasses all existing accounting modules. Our clients shall access in a secure way to their accounts, management reports through their Computers, laptops and mobile devices in real time.

Assistance to International Financial Institutions (IFIs)

Our Director has extent knowledge working for IFIs such as the European Commission, UNHCR, UNFPA, SIDA for over 15 years and has performed various assurance services such as financial, financial and systems audits, also expenditure verifications, Pillar assessments over 35 Countries around the world.

We shall perform ad hoc verifications of various Programmes funded by IFIs meeting high International standards at a moderate price due to the Director’s presence within the Country, reducing significantly the overall costs for IFIs willing to get International skills based within the Country.
